What does Wes Craven have up his sleeve for 'Scream 4'?



When Scream first burst onto the scene in 1996 no one knew that 14-years later the same cast would be coming together to make a fourth installment of the popular series.

The film Scream 4, which premise has been kept its premise tighly under wraps thanks to director and master-mind behind the series, Wes Craven, will take place only 10-years after the last installment ended.

The character of Sidney Prescott, played by Neve Campbell is said to have put her life back together after her past scares, but once again gets an unwelcomed visit from the Ghostface Killer.

Other actors making a reapparence consist of recently divorced couple, David Arquette and Courtney Cox reprising their roles as Sheriff Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers-Riley.

Craven has also decided to add some 'fresh meat' to the broad including Julia Robert's neice, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin- younger brother to child star Macaulay Culkin.

The trailer spoils some high-profile stars making cameos in the film including the star of HBO's series True Blood, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell (When in Rome) and leading-lady in the hit ABC Family television series, Pretty Little Liars, Lucy Hale.

Scream 4 is set to be released on April 15, 2011. According to screenwriter, Kevin Williamson the film is aiming to recieve an 'R' rating and will not be available in 3D.
