Did you like 'Kick-Ass'?

If so, you're in for a treat. It looks as if director James Gunn made a film similar to the popular action flick from last year, Kick-Ass. Except this time he's switched the characters from awkward teenagers and foul-mouthed children, to awkward adults. Such diversity.

The film Super stars Rainn Wilson (also known as Dwight from The Office) as a typical down on his luck guy who decides to transform himself into a suphero named Crimson Bolt after his wife leaves him for a drug-dealer named Jaques (played by Kevin Bacon).

Ellen Page plays his teen-sidekick Libby, as the two engage in fighting back against Jacques, despite the fact that heroic skills seem to be the one thing they're lacking.

Super, which has been described as an action, drama, comedy is set to hit theatres on April 1, 2011.

Do you think Super will be similar to Kick-Ass?
