21 Jump Street was a classic 80's television series that starred the now famous Johnny Depp. The buzz over the past several years has been talk of a possible remake film rendition of the original series. Before now all the talk has been rumors but as of today, 21 Jump Street is officially in the works to be made into a film.

The script is written by comedy actor, Jonah Hill who will also have a role in the film. The flick will also star Channing Tatum, who is currently staring in the action flick The Eagle.

Whether or not Johnny Depp will make a cameo in the flick is unknown but Tatum is reportedly hopeful that he will.
21 Jump Street is set to hit theaters in March of 2012.
