Leslie Nielsen passed away today at the age of 84 and is best remembered for his comedy. Neilsen started his career in show business as a serious actor and attended New York's Neighborhood Playhouse while playing small parts on TV. He later showed off his comedic skills in the film Airplane and the Naked Gun series. Neilsen frequently had cameo's on TV shows such as The Love Boat and Fantasy Island. In his later years, Neilsen continued to make cameo's in films that were mostly spoofs.

Neilsen was currently playing the voice of the character Ready Espanosa in the film The Waterman Movie. The film is still in-production and there is no word as to who will replace Neilsen's part as of yet.
Neilsen is survived by his two daughters and his wife Barbaree Nielsen.
