How many more 'Pirates of the Caribean' movies can be expect?

Fans of Johnny Depp's famous swash-buckling pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow are most likely well aware that the next installment of the popular Disney franchise is set to hit theaters next spring. However, according to insiders at Disney Studios, two more 'Pirate' films are in consideration. There is no word yet about whether or not Depp will revise his role but filmmakers are being forewarned to make room for what will be the 5th and 6th film of the series in their schedules, which are rumored to possibly be shot back to back.

As for the latest “Pirates” films, Pirates of the Caribean: On Strangers Tides, Entertainment Tonight recently released a featurette, giving fans a second glimpse at a behind-the-scenes look at the new film. The last time any photographs or video from the new movie were made public was last spring at Comic-Con when Depp revealed a short trailer for the flick.

Although this installment does not feature Keira Knightly or Orlando Bloom who both had substantial roles in the first three films, it does add Penelope Cruz to the lineup playing the feisty pirate, Angelica.

Pirates of the Caribean: On Strangers Tides is set to be the first film of the franchise to be released in 3D and will hit theaters on May 20, 2011.
