If you're talking about the box office, then yes. The seventh film installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise, "Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows- Part 1" was released on Wednesday night to an impressive $31 million at the box office, just from midnight ticket sales alone. Over the weekend, Potter gained over $330 million worldwide, $125 million which came from domestic ticket sales according to a statement released by Warner Bros. Pictures.

As for biggest opening weekend of all time, "Hallows" rests in sixth place beaten by films such as "The Dark Knight" ($158 million), "Spider-Man 3" ($151 million) and "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" ($142 million).

The last recording breaking weekend made by a "Harry Potter" film was in 2005 with "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" which garnered $102 million its opening weekend. "Hallows" surpassed their best with a 23 percent increase in sales.

"This is truly a motion picture phenomenon and it is just the beginning," said Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures. "Based on the response to the film, we anticipate its success to carry on throughout the holiday season and beyond. It demonstrates once again the enduring power and popularity of 'Harry Potter'," he said.

"Hallows" revolves around the three main characters from the previous films Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) as they travel across Great Britain in search to destory posessions that conceal Harry's enemie, Voldermorts' immortality.

The "Harry Potter" film series, which is already one of the most profitable franchies of all time, is ensured to reign at the box office once again when "Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows- Part 2" hits theatres on July 15th, 2011.
