The End of Justin Bieber?

Justin Biebers concert flick part autobiography, Never Say Never opened last week to what people called a dismal box office draw considering the teens superstardom. The Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston romantic-comedy, Just Go With It even beat Bieber at the box office this weekend. But does this mean the end of Bieber as we know it?

Not yet. Just Go With It although in first place, brought in an estimated $30.5 million this weekend. Never Say Never stayed in second place with $29.5 million. Doing the math, Never Say Never was also only $1 million behind the comedy which in movie figures isn't much, but to figure out why the flick brought in less money to the box office other factors about the past week have to be considered.

First, Sandler's flick was a top contender for date movies being that Monday was Valentine's Day and many celebrated a couple days before on the weekend, therefore bringing more couples to the audiences last week than there typically are.

Second, Bieber's flick didn't get the best of reviews. Many calling the flick something that occurred too early in the young singer's carreer, although many disagree.

Third, my guess is that althought Just Go With It also recieved particularily harsh reviews from critics it will remain popular with the A-list actors involved in the project. As for Bieber's film, there is no doubt it won't be leaving one of the Top 5 spots in the box office charts anytime soon.

What film did you see last weekend?
