'Percy Jackson' Sequel On the Way
Studios originally thought that the film Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief would be the next successful film franchise, especially when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone director, Chris Columbus signed on to direct the first picture. Percy Jackson didn't break box office records but studio heads seem confident enough to get the teenager superhero another go on the big screen.
The second film, based off the second book The Sea of Monsters, will most likely not have Columbus back in the director chair but the star of the first film, Logan Lerman will definitley be signing for the sequel.
yeah they would-- percy jackson had lotsa fans already, from the very beginning of the book, 2nd installment til' the last series.
