Disney's Film 'Magic Kingdom' is Coming to Life

First it was Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion and The Jungle Cruise and now it's the entire theme park of Disney's Magic Kingdom that will be making its way to the big screen.

Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland in California.

Magic Kingdom is described as being a Night at the Museum-esque film, but instead of exhibits, the theme park rides will come to life. (Is anyone else thinking about the It's a Small World Dolls?)

Jon Favreau is currently on board to direct the film. Although there are many Disney parks around the globe, this film will be set in the Magic Kingdom park in Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The rumor is that right now Pulitzer-Prize winning author and screenwriter, Michael Chabon, is being offered the job to work on the film's script, which was originally written by Ron Moore.

Are you excited to see Magic Kingdom?
